Help provide care kits for patients in the hospital

Shortly after moving here, we discovered an incredible organization called Healing Hearts founded by Rabbi Yochanan Klein and his wife Esti. Their mission: easing the burden of those experiencing medical crisis both in the hospital and beyond.

When one finds themselves in a critical medical situation, they often arrive to the hospital without any essentials. That’s where Healing Hearts comes in. Every single week Rabbi and Rebetzin Klein make sure every local hospital is stocked with home cooked kosher food, drinks, snacks and other essentials.

Since meeting the Klein family, we have not only recognized the importance of the work that they do but also felt compelled to get involved. From spending time packing food for the hospitals with Esti and her girls, to packaging Mishloach Manot for families in the hospital and helping raise funds to support the work that they do.

In an effort to do our part, we have created the Healing Hearts Kit. This kit contains essentials such as hygienic products, socks, Tehillim and more. Our goal is to provide a kit to every single Jewish patient that is in the hospital for overnight/extended visits. Please join us in the mitzvah of Bikur Cholim and supporting this cause that is very close to our (healing) hearts.
